Louis Chung

Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Louis studied Economics at the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League school located in Pennsylvania. His passion and understanding of the South Korean entertainment industry as well as his knowledge of the underlying technology behind the Kfans network has allowed him to continuously grow Kfans as an international leader of innovation in the Korean entertainment and technology sector.

His past entrepreneurial experiences range from his endeavors in the edtech industry to his role as an early member of national personal finance NPO, Common Cents. He is also a proud supporter and contributor of the American Red Cross and UPenn Wharton Korean Undergraduate Business Society.

Wenxuan Chen

Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Wenxuan studied Computer Science and Korean studies at the University of Pennsylvania. He possesses a diverse set of experiences, working as an early software engineer at Mezzanine and HyperAction, a South Korean based tech startup. His passion for the South Korean entertainment industry as well as his technological expertise of both mobile and web apps has inspired him to join the Kfans Team.

His years of experience with modern tech stacks has allowed him to be a versatile team member, and he hopes to apply his professional experience to help establish Kfans as a pioneer in the Korean entertainment industry.

Our Story

Louis and Wenxuan met at the University of Pennsylvania through a class called Korean Popular Culture, where they got to know each other over their shared passion for the Korean entertainment industry.

With a diverse range of skills and understanding of entrepreneurship, technology, and the Korean entertainment industry, they came together to form Kfans, a rapidly growing network of U.S. based KPop & KDrama Fans.

In an industry dominated by Korean conglomerates, two young entrepreneurs, Louis and Wenxuan stepped in to build a vibrant community of KPop & KDrama Fans, inspired by their vision to provide fans with a truly meaningful experience.

This would become the start of an ambitious mission to revolutionize the Korean entertainment industry with technology and innovation – the start to something truly amazing.
